One of my favorite places to go in the world is Hawaii. It is such a tropical paradise. He comes complete with sandy beaches, coral reefs, and an abundance of tropical pleasures including waterfalls and an occasional sea turtle that will appear while you are snorkeling or scuba diving.
It is not that most people do not want to go there, but they have trouble affording the actual trip.
Here is one solution that will help almost anyone take a Hawaiian vacation that will not cost an arm and a leg.
The best thing you can do is to look for vacations during the off-season. This is not your normal tip. I am not simply asking you to go to Hawaii when no one else is. You must look at all of the islands, and that all of the deals available in order to find the most affordable ones.
The trick is this:
During this time of the year many hotels purchase a large number of plane tickets so that they can package them with deals to get people to the Hawaiian Islands.
It is a win-win situation.
You win with a lower price for your airfare, lodging, and sometimes even a cheap rental car. The hotels win because more than likely once you are there, you will spend money at their establishment and in the future come back again because you got such a great deal.
What you want to do is go to a place like Priceline.com or Travelocity.com and search for trips with a wide range of dates. Be flexible on how long you are going to stay. By doing this, you will allow their computer systems to find the lowest possible deals that are available, deals that you would not find otherwise because you were searching in the usual narrow range.
I have found trips to Hawaii for as cheap as $600 for a week long stay that included the airfare, five star hotel, and an economy car rental. All of that void is usually the cost of a round-trip ticket.
